It’s cool, yes, but didn’t we establish long ago that anything with ninjas is? To me, this is pandering.
No, you’ve missed the point. It’s not cool because it’s about ninjas; it’s cool because it IS ninjas. It wholly and completely distills the essence of the ninja into a simple yet elegant binary proposition. To put it another way, it is a ninja’s job to flip out and kill people. Recognize.
Yes, echillri is right. The beauty of ninja-ness is the complete absence of duology inherent in such an existence.
